Today, a Security Bulletin (APSB11-06) has been posted to address a critical security issue (CVE-2011-0609) in the products, as referenced in Security Advisory APSA11-01. This Security Bulletin affects the authplay.dll component that ships with Adobe Reader and Acrobat X (10.0.1) and earlier 10.x and 9.x versions for Windows and Macintosh operating systems. Adobe recommends that users apply the updates for their product installations.
