Adobe Photoshop tool forms

Magic wand:

Press Ctrl-D (command-J on Mac) to copy the selection into its own layer.

To cut the selection to its own layer, press Shift-Ctrl-D (Shift-command-J)

For most tools, acting on a Ctrl-Alt (Command-Option on Mac) and dragging a selected area will be temporarily invoke the tool move, allowing you to move and duplicate the layer selected quickly

You can also duplicate a layer in now pressed the Alt key (Option on a Mac key) while using the tool move.

The crop tool:

The cropping (C) tool is used to crop the images create a selection using the crop tool, and then double-click the Centre of the
selection, or press ENTER, to crop the image to the size of the selection to cancel without cropping, select another
tool, or press the Esc key

Tips and shortcuts for the crop tool:

You can use the tool crop to resize your canvas expand your document window, while it is larger than the area of the image and create a selection of cultures that includes the image and extends the grey areas "outside" the image by applying this culture will resize your canvas to include those extended limitsmaking your largest canvas
