Review: Handy backup is simple, powerful and easy to use

Handy backup is utilitarian in the best sense; It is a backup program with a no. no-nonsense interface and a boatload of functions. Despite its simple facial expression its iterations is one sure speak IT types and intelligent consumers. I looked at mobile phone backup free, which is... free of charge.

1. There is not much to see, but it is the power behind the mobile backup-grille.

Mobile backup free is easy to use and you can select files and repositories for back up. Repositories are folders or accounts such as my documents, a FTP, WebDav, Amazon S3, etc. It's a little strange, the latter under a backup to see list items are displayed, but it is also beautiful. Backing up to and restoring data to local disk drives, CD/DVD/BD, FTP, and over a network.

You create a backup, restore and sync task in mobile backup home page with step by step wizards. These are easy to use, and after a task is defined, you can edit all options directly from a multiple-paned dialog box. To skip the wizard, simply a task to duplicate and edit the appropriate options. Called options are full, incremental and differential backups; encrypted ZIP files, compress the backup, Planning; and perform tasks before or after a job.

Handy backup comes in a $39 home, $199 and $99 professional small server and $599-Server editions. Home is the latest version of 7.x, while Pro adds SFTP server and ODBC database backup to secure disk images. The small Server Edition provides numerous business and enterprise-wide databases such as Microsoft Exchange data, Oracle, and more. The server version has it all, plus the ability, back up multiple PCs from a central location.

Handy backup wizard step by step helps you by jobs.

About the only thing that is missing is that I want in the handy backup Protocol, used by many servers and NAS boxes, see support for rsync, a backup and synchronization. Apart from that should one or the other editions of the programme have all functions you need. I had an easy time with the program; It is easy, it does the job, and it stays out of the way. What else could you wish for?

Note: The download button on the product information page loads the software from the manufacturer website. Mobile backup website make confusing download of the correct version. You need a serial number to use the free version, you will receive from the developer. Also, the message is for a trial of the home version update. Continue to ignore this message with the free version.
