With even greater higher ed with Office 365 University

Guest blogger Devin Pastoor is a University of Maryland graduate student on his PhD in pharmacology and bio-mathematics work. Devin Office 365 University shares how he uses and to manage his life organized and productive with demanding to remain constantly deadlines.

Office 365 UniversityMy life is a whirlwind of classes, assignments, group projects, and laboratory work. How College and students take the most I can all help, I get to keep organized, productive and ultimately to stay ahead of the learning curve.

Lucky students for me and other universities endeavors, all useful, just Microsoft Office 365 University for College and students. For only $79.99 for a four-year subscription (the only $1.67 per month!), it's a fantastic deal.

As an early adopter of Office 365 I have up and running for a few months. In this short time, I've gotten to know and love many of the new features-all that I possibly will not waive, whether I was in school, at home or work. Here are a few:

Note: I use OneNote as a mein ' Digital Brain '. Be it tests, laboratory work, to do lists, or random thoughts, keeps everything in order and my fingertips OneNote. I love the openness and extensibility, the OneNote features. In the blink of an eye I can create shapes to add PowerPoint slides or handouts, which my teachers give me and make my Tablet full, use of the ink features in multiple colors. In addition, keeps me organized, is the search function, to OneNote built an invaluable asset for me.The fact that I myself find written texte-can-my own handwriting!-makes it easier than ever for me find keywords while gathering research, study or looking after information from a specific lecture

Data-entry: Doing laboratory work, Flash fill Excel already saved me many hours of manual data entry. How to fill a Data Wizard, which completes your work for you, Flash recognizes what you want to do and enters the rest of your data in one fell swoop, for patterns in the data.

Presentations: With the improved presenter view in PowerPointI see more and more polished than I really (sure hope that my professors read this am, are not). Hidden my audience, I see I need all the key points in the remarks section to land and I no longer worry about, is which slide or need, look at the clock on the wall see, how much time I have left.

Communications and calendar: Between school, work, multiple e-Mail accounts and my schedule is a breeze with the new Outlook. The ability to add people to a meeting and suggest Outlook time where everyone's calendar is free made large meetings or even casual riots planning stress-free.

The cloud: With SkyDrive, my current documents are always available online, where ever I am. Because I frequently switch between my Tablet and laptop, it is important that all over both update. I am also many group projects, involved, so being able to create and share folders by content, know that every human being has the latest version of everything, that everything is always protected, needs a lot of stress from work.

In addition to all the things that I love about using Office 365 for the school, I can not close, without requiring you to know about all the Extras, with an Office-365-University subscription, including:

More memory: Additional 20 GB Premium SkyDrive storage.Skype: 60 Minutes of Skype world per month. New of upgrades: Future updates and extensions to get. Two installations: On up to two computers (PC or Mac) for a user to install Office-365-University.Office on request: Use Office, even if you are not at your PC to stream through comprehensive Office to an Internet-connected Windows-based PC.
