Mail stuck in the Outbox? Try this.

"What do you mean, that you did not receive?" "I saw it last night!" At least you thought that you do not. Now you're in a meeting, which was set up to check the PowerPoint presentation, red-faced that it never, to your recipient managed.

Check your Outbox, and there it is.  If you find here are a few reasons why ever even in this situation and some steps you can take.

First, the tab, try send / receive click in Outlook send all .

Check your Outbox to determine whether the message has disappeared.

A message can plug if there is a plant that contains too large for some e-Mail servers to manage. Their work could, for example, the size of e-Mail messages limit, you can send or receive. That slide deck with many pretty pie charts could be the culprit.

Switch to offline work

If a message does not work, try to reduce the size of attachments and send again.

To achieve this, you can try first, delete, or open the message in the Outbox. But that might not work. Here is the reason. Outlook is really responsive to and holds each message in your Outbox is trying to send. Do not open or delete a message if it does. Instead, you'll probably see this message:

Stop Outlook wheels from turning, you can work offline. On the tab, click send / receive to work offline.

Once offline, it simply is, to fix the problem: you can open the message, remove that system to reduce the size and to send it again. Or you can delete the message and start from the ground up-if of course you have a copy of the installation.

Sometimes not Outlook can send da offline-your e-Mail Server - is whether a mail server at work or online. If this is the case, work! As soon as it comes online, Outlook sends all messages in your Outbox in a second or two.

You know that your server is offline, if you "Disconnected" displayed in the status bar.

If you are up and running, it will say "Connected.".

You should get rid now. Below pointer to trim for attachments prior to sending, see reduce the size of pictures and attachments.
