Photoshop is a complex program, but anyone can learn how to use and master. It is sufficient to know where to start. I believe that the best way to do is to just start playing with the program. Double click on the icon for the program, to y and a blow of eye autour. Open the menus drop, watching the different toolbars, click everything to get a feel for where things are. Then you can search more deep with a few options.

First of all, there are books. The different programs of Photoshop are CS, CS1, CS2, CS3 and CS4. Photoshop Elements 6, 7 and 8 (the oldest are virtually obsolete) and the premier Photoshop elements; Photoshop Lightroom 1 and 2. and finally, Photoshop Extended. There are books which are for the enumerated specific programme, and when I typed Photoshop in Amazon.com, I had more than 9 000 results. It is not necessary to buy a book, but you can. There is a free PDF file of the first chapter of a book on Visual Photoshop CS Quick Start Guide. Honestly, for a beginner to Photoshop, this free chapter is a good start as it gives you an overview of what you need to learn.

Also, when you buy a Photoshop program, it is with the reading of documents that I suggest that browse you at least. Thus, you have read a bit about Photoshop and be ready for a test on road. All these programs have similar basics; file, edit, image, drop layer, select menus, fill, view, window and help and various toolbars and tool boxes. I list these things, so that you know to look for these elements when you play with the program.

Tutorials, there are many tutorials on the Adobe Web site can take you through the features of Photoshop. Just so you know, a few tutorials is not free, but are accessible when you purchase the specific product, so that they are. With regard to the free tutorials, you will certainly want to take advantage of tutorials that teach you specifically how to navigate in the main Toolbox. This is what you will use to select items, crop images, add text, use the pen and brush, change your color palette, clone parts of an image, blur edges, erase things and much more. One of the most important things, you can learn is how to work with layers. Whenever you change your image, you must put the changes into a new layer you can go back and fix the layer that are both opposed to the fixing of the thing.
