How to make a Cubism effect in Photoshop


Before starting on our tutorial in how to make a Cubism effect in photoshop, let us have a review of our Art history.

Cubism is the most influential, essential, innovative art of the 20th century. This is a complete denial of conventional departure of beauty. It is a joint creation of the two greatest painters Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque.

Cubism is the new way of seeing things in the art. Most of the subject is represented in geometric shapes and sometimes showing many perspectives of a particular image. It is as if the subject is under construction many photos taken from different angles.

Now let's start our tutorial. You need your Photoshop and the image that you use.

Open your Photoshop and then click file, select Open , and choose the image that you use.
First go to tool located in the left tool menu.
You are going to use the tool marquee to select a portion of the image, and then press CTRL + J to copy in its own layer.
Go to the window of the layer , and then click the Add a layer styleicon
Then select inner glow
To provide the layer from a different angle, just go to edit then click free transform.
Hold down the CTRL key, and then drag any bounding box handles, if you want to tweak the layer. However, you can drag the cursor outdoor or rotate to change the angles.
After that, open the layer window and select the original image layer and repeat the above steps. You can also add shapes and text if you want.
To add text, go to the text tool and play with the face of type.
To add shapes, go to the custom shapes tool and select a shape, and then drag on the image.

The text tool and custom forms tool are located in the left tool menu. If you want to be more creative, you can play with the opacity of each layer. You can also try by the superposition of patter for the texture.

Just choose any layer and then double click on and select model overlay.
Experience with each mode not only pattern overlay to make it seem good.

You can adjust the color of each layer to make it more creative. Just go to the Image and then click adjustment and select hue / saturation. With this, check colorize and then you can change the color by adjusting the slider. You can add more than an adjustment layer.

Finally, you leave your Cubist image of an ordinary image. You can print it and put it in a pleasant setting. In this way, you have your abstract painting without spending much.
