Adobe Photoshop is well known as a set of high quality software to work with bitmap and raster graphic images. It is not only that it is probably the Leader of market of this type program, many people would say that it is the standard de facto graphic design professionals to create, mount and manipulate raster images.
At the time of writing, the latest version of Adobe Photoshop is known by the label CS3. CS3 means "creative Suite 3", also refers to the different bundles of design and development of the software offered by Adobe Systems Incorporated. There are indeed several different bundles available CS3, most but not all, includes a version of Adobe Photoshop CS3 or Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended. Note that the versions of the CS3 packages are available for both Apple Macintosh computers (which of course are very popular with graphic designers and other creative professionals) and for the PC running the Microsoft Windows operating system.
In General, each of the products contained in the Adobe Photoshop CS3, including, of course, bundles, is primarily intended for professional use. While that that certainly shouldn't (and doesn't) exclude ordinary people from the use of the software, this means that if you want to get the most out of software, you should obtain proper training. By appropriate training, I mean necessarily go to training courses (even if it is an option) - books, software training, DVD or Internet web sites on Photoshop are all reasonable alternative solutions - they key thing is to have elements of good quality available that teaches the program.
