In the previous post, we gave many examples of this, as access to really create quickly and easily a database. We mentioned as areas where access is fast and flexible queries, reports, data validation and display data in Excel. In this post, I will focus on reporting.
The last post mentioned the possibility, create reports to order information and create buzz with an access report. The following, I will show a brief example, how simple, quick and clean with access to you can give.
I have alive parents, Margaret, are working their be cookie orders for her son class school project to track. Margaret creates a table cookies ("product information") and table ("invoices") and a query combines the two. It then makes a quick-create report based on the query.

Margaret chocolate has several orders cookies from their staff for sugar cookies and Mint, so she wants the orders from cookie type and the number group each cookie needed, to fill their orders of. For clicking on the button & group sort .

You access grouping and sorting options at the bottom of her report.

After it is group of "Cookie decides" and a few quick has, its shape looks like this:

Their orders are now a few. But when she gets more orders, she know that they want to have added no more than 100 orders by hand. So she created a total fast for their Qty field and positioned it in addition to the rest of their Commons. You choose the Qty field, and then click the totals button & group sort.

And here is the finished product in print preview:

Margaret has with a few clicks and two minutes a pretty report, you follow the new orders that they receive, when she leads morning work help. And by the side view, has to show a high-fidelity printable report to the other parties involved parents.
This example shows how quickly you can create a pretty report with grouping and totals in access for this much larger datasets that you can have. Of course you need to manage and edit that data outside of the reporting and access allows you to do many other tasks quickly and easily.
