The Clone Stamp tool selects and an area of the image of the samples. You can then use these pixels to paint any mark. It is also useful in duplicating objects and covering defects in an image. In simple terms, it copies an area exactly how it is presented in the photo.
Most of the time that the clone stamp tool is used to repair the pictures. Photos torn and stained can be repair by the clone stamp tool, once done would not know you even it was damaged. Even the oldest photo can be repaired. For most of my jobs of image-editing tool I use clone to fix unwanted images or defects in images.
Repair of the Photos in Photoshop does not have to be difficult. I'll make this simple and easy to follow for the novice tutorial.
To start this tutorial, you will need to open your Photoshop. Click file, and then select open and choose the image you want to repair. Regardless of whether it is scanned or digital image.
Before you start repairing your photo, open the layer window, and then drag the first or the original layer to the create an icon of the new layer to the bottom. In this way, you can make a duplicate layer so you can restore the original. After that, double click on the duplicated layer and the coalesced.
Check your photo and determine what part of it, you think that would need some repair. Then select the clone stamp, that tool located in the left tool menu. Please note that the clone stamp tool cannot be used directly, you must have a source area where you would take a sample of. Generally, you need a part of the image or the image that corresponds to the defective unit.
Once you have finished identifying the part of the image that you can use, hold down the ALT key, then you will see the cross hair, after that click on your area target or source region. You can start painting the area you need to repair.
Don't forget to adjust the opacity and flow of the brush you use. In addition, if you want a good result, keep re-selecting your target area and wipe the brush over the defective area.
Take it slowly when you are repairing your photo. If you made a mistake just click Ctrl + Z to cancel the it. You can also access the history back window.
